My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures
John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."
This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

I only new Jerome for a little over a few years. He always seem to be a big brother to me. Sometimes you don't stay in touch especially when your in the military. After Jerome left our unit I still talked to him we had quite a few conversations. I wish he was still here. I haven't known Jerome long but I know him good enough to know what his family is missing. To all who loved Jerome I will keep you in my prayers. If possible I would like to visit his grave site. My number is 860-639-8769 if someone can contact me and give me the information. Hello my name is Brenda Stewart, I would like to apologize first of all for your loss, second of all I'd like to apologize for lighting a candle for my father on your page, I didnt realize that this was someones memorial page, I was searching on the web for something that I could do to remember my dad by and I thought that this was a place you could light a candle in memorium to someone that you've lost. I lost my dad in 2002, under very tragic circumstances and I just needed some kind of release, I am so sorry, I did not mean no harm, please except my deepest condolences and apology, thank you, Brenda Stewart, Flat Rock, Michigan.

This is a beautiful website. Although I never met Jerome, I know how much he was loved by family and friends. He fought a valiant battle but God needed him at His side. I pray for all of his family and friends, that God gives you the strength to cope with his loss. Remember, he is now strong, healthy and smiling as he looks down from the heavens.

"J" was such a positive and upbeat person. Although I only knew him for the short time he was in Guam, his easygoing and strong leadership set him apart from others. My thoughts and prayers, as well as those of my families are with his family in this time of need. I know that words often fail to adequately capture feelings, but I am truly sorry for the loss.
