This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Jerome Bernard Houston who was born in  Butler Pennsylvania on December 26, 1978 and was called home on May 7, 2008 at the age of 29. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Dear Family and Friends,

    I would like to tell you all that I am home now,  I am not sick anymore!  My new body is strong and healthy and my mind is no longer sad!  Please be happy for me for I am with our Lord and Savior and he is just and glorious as the rays of sun that I saw as a child when I quietly realized it was God.

   Please pray for my family as they need prayers and comfort, and pray for my daughters to grow up strong and to serve the lord.  Take comfort knowing that I loved you all and that just as God promised we will see each other again.

  My hope is that this website will provide a place for those people in Jerome's life who would like to take a moment and look back on some of the happier times, and to add some cherished memories of their own.  I composed the letter from Jerome to bring some comfort and peace to the hearts and minds of the people who loved him.  What better way to find comfort and counsel than with the Lord.  Please feel free to light a candle by clicking on "Candle" on the left side of the page.  Write anything and as often as you wish.

  In his last days, Jerome was not able to speak but this is how I think he may feel right now, he never wanted anyone to make a fuss over him and I know he would want us to be glad for him now that he is no longer suffering.  I thank God for the Mercy that he did show my brother and I try to remember that when blessings come they don't always come wrapped in a neat and tidy little package, or in the manner that we think we should be blessed in.  It is God's plan and as much as I miss Jerome I know God will always do what is best for Jerome.
